Natrona County Rolls Past Gillette 47-7 [VIDEO]

The Natrona County Mustangs crushed the Gillette Camels on Friday night in Gillette by a score of 47-7.

The mustangs won the opening coin toss and pretty much every other category on their way to a dominate performance against the #1 ranked camels.

NC used 2 QB's, sharing time and both performed at exceptional levels racking up yards and points and even NC's kicker Junior Cody Wilkinson got in on the action as he drilled a 55 yd field goal en route to the big win.

NC led 19-0 at the end of the first quarter, led 26-0 at the half.  Natrona County's Defense bent, but didn't break as Gillette was able to move the ball early in the game, but NC kept them out of the the end zone and forced a couple of turnovers.  In the second half, NC made a few adjustments to better stop the run and forced Gillette to throw the ball more than they were comfortable doing.

Outside of a few more penalties than the team would have liked to have seen, it was an outstanding performance and the biggest win against their rival since 2004.
