SOME WEEKEND SNOW COMING TO THE AREA.

A LARGE STORM SYSTEM OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL MOVE SLOWLY TOWARDS THE AREA THIS WEEKEND. THERE COULD BE SOME SNOW SHOWERS ON CASPER MOUNTAIN TONIGHT AND SATURDAY BUT MORE SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION AND COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL ARRIVE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY.

SNOWFALL WILL BE HIGHLY ELEVATION DEPENDENT WITH ELEVATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET POSSIBLY RECEIVING 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW WITH UP TO 8 INCHES ON CASPER MOUNTAIN.

AREAS LIKE CASPER COULD STILL SEE A PERIOD OF SNOW LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WITH A DUSTING TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE. BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND POSSIBLE WINTER HIGHLIGHTS. ROADS COULD BECOME SNOW COVERED AT TIMES, ESPECIALLY LATER SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING. SOME LIGHT SNOW COULD LINGER THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.
