Graduation rates are on the rise in the Natrona County School District, improving by 5% over the past five years. NCSD's graduation rates for the class of 2017 went up nearly 3 percentage points, that according to data released by the Wyoming Department of Education in January.

According to those numbers, NCSD's four high schools graduated 79.3% of its students, which shows an improvement from the 76.6% rate in 2016.
School officials say the increase in graduation rates is a "massive" step toward meeting one of NCSD’s goals outlined in the Strategic Plan, which is to graduate at least 85% of students by the year 2019.
