Near Drowning at Alcova Lake

A tragedy was averted Sunday at Alcova Lake.

A seventeen-year-old man was swimming near Cottonwood Beach, when people on the beach noticed him struggling, and then going under.

He was quickly rescued, and Lifeflight was called to the scene.

He was flown to Wyoming Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.
