New Mobile App Helps Combat Drunk Driving

The “Wyoming Governor's Council on Impaired Driving”, has created an easy to use, mobile application giving people, who have been drinking, a safe option other than driving. Now with a simple push of a button on your smartphone, you can find a sober ride home and keep our roads safe. And it is free!

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over!

Wyoming drivers can now use the Drive Sober Wyoming app to help them find a safe, sober ride home. The app will also help sober drivers report potentially drunk drivers to local law enforcement agencies.

If you drive impaired, you will get arrested. It simply isn’t worth it.

Drive Sober Wyoming is an initiative by the Wyoming Governor's Council on Impaired Driving to reduce the number of people on the road who are driving while under the influence of an intoxicant. This simple mobile app will remind the user that drinking and driving is not worth the risk. The app includes quick access to texting, or calling a friend for a ride, plus a list of companies that can provide a safe ride home. We have included the Wyoming laws and penalties for driving under the influence as well as information on the real cost of a DUI.
