McFelony

McDonald's says you deserve a break today, unless of course you're pretending to be a cop to get free food.

A 33-year-old Florida man assumed that all police officers get free stuff, so he placed his order at a McDonald's drive-thru, and then flashed a fake badge and a real gun. He told the employee at the window that he'd just gotten off duty and forgot his wallet.

The manager didn't buy his story and called 911. Cops arrived and arrested him for impersonating a police officer. Maybe next time he should try a doughnut store. (Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office)

No Spidey Sense

Customs officials in Amsterdam intercepted a suitcase containing 200 live tarantulas.

According to officials at Schiphol Airport, a German couple, flying in from Peru, were also carrying dozens of centipedes, crickets, grasshoppers and beetles.

The creepy crawlers were seized by officers. No word on why the couple had the tarantulas and other insects – or if they would face charges. (UPI)

Beer Run!

Trouble is brewing for two corrections officers in American Samoa − after they were accused of letting inmates leave the jail to go on beer runs.

The officers are being investigated after one of the inmates escaped.

According to reports, one inmate said he was allowed to leave the jail to buy beer for other inmates and also to pick up chips and cookies for a corrections officer.

The officers were charged with aiding the escape of a prisoner and permitting escape, among other charges. They are being held on $10,000 bail each. (Yahoo News)

A wanna-be burglar in Georgia is in a ho-ho-hole lotta trouble after getting stuck when he went up the chimney without care during a heist.
