“OWN” Shania!

Okay, that title may be a little misleading since she just tied the knot over the weekend, but I can still dream.

In addition to Shania Twain's  recent nuptials, and just in case you've forgotten; she also has a show on the newly-launched Oprah Winfrey Network.

According to people.com: Twain, 44, will star on Why Not? With Shania Twain, an hour-long series premiering on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. "The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures," says a statement from the network.

As many who follow Shania will know, the last few years of her life have been somewhat of a challenge due to the break-up of her long marriage to multiple awarding-winning record producer, Mutt Lange.  Mutt has been credited with guiding Shania's career and catapulting her into international success.

The new show is set to premiere in April.  As a Shania fan and admirer, I know I'm certainly looking forward to it.  It would also stand to reason that the only place for Shania to go is "up!"
