The 4A football season kicked off on Friday and Natrona prevailed over Laramie in the 1st game of the year 29-0 in Casper. NC found the end zone one time in the first half thanks to a touchdown connection from Trig Berens to Rogan Potter that covered 17 yards but the Mustangs held a slim 7-0 lead at halftime.

The 2nd half was a different story for Natrona as they tallied a safety on a bad snap which was followed by another TD connection from Berens to Potter for 13 yards. The Mustang lead at this point was 16-0.

Rogan Potter connected on 2 field goals and Ayden Fuller scored late as NC is 1-0 on the year with a huge road game coming up on Friday night at Cheyenne East. Laramie will be on the road for the 2nd consecutive week on Friday, traveling to Gillette to take on Campbell County.
