Possible New Sports Bar Coming To Casper In Early 2024

Rumors are always circulating about new places coming to Casper. You always hear about this store, or that restaurant opening, and many times it doesn't happen.

I think most of the time, it's people trying to make their wish come true. We've taken many polls asking people what burger restaurant or stores they'd like to see in Casper. Sure, we all have our favorite spots and feel that others would love them too.

Recently while at a local watering hole, the rumors started flying about a popular 'Wholesale' giant making it's way to Casper. I can't say whether this store is coming or not, because I don't know, but it's not the first time I've heard these stories.

I can tell you that Casper is set to get a new sports bar/ pizza restaurant in 2024.

The press release was sent out this summer that Casper is supposed to be the first Wyoming location of the pizza chain Boston Pizza - Restaurant & Sports Bar. 

The chain was started in Canada as Boston Pizza and Spaghetti House in 1964 and began expanding through Canada in the 1970's and 1980's. Then eventually making its way into the U.S. and Mexico.

The press release says the Casper Boston Pizza restaurant & sports bar is supposed to be opening in the Best Western Downtown Casper location (formerly the Parkway Plaza Hotel) in the early part of 2024.

In a statement to Restaurant News.Com, Boston Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar President Jeff Melnick said:

We’re honored to partner with Galaxy Management to bring Boston’s to Wyoming for the first time. We can’t wait to provide craveable food and a family-friendly atmosphere for guests to come in and celebrate all the wins together. We look forward to seeing everyone there and before you know it – guests will find their new favorite hand-made pizzas

Currently the website for the restaurant & sports bar shows there are locations in

• California
• Colorado
• Florida
• Georgia
• Maryland
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Montana
• North Dakota
• Ohio
• South Dakota
• Texas
• Washington

Even though Wyoming isn't on the list of current Boston Pizza locations now, the fact that our neighboring states of South Dakota, Montana and Colorado are, shows that they're not scared of coming to the mountain states.
