The "Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin is going to be honored at Sunday's night's 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.  And there to share in the honoring will be our very own Martina McBride.

Aretha will be given the "Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award" and "Grammy Legend Award" and Martina will be a part of the musical salute.  Wouldn't you just love to hear her sing Giving Him Something That He Can Feel?

Dierks Bentley, Jewel, Carrie Underwood, George Strait, The Band Perry, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum,  Miranda Lambert, Chris Young,  Little Big Town, LeAnn Rimes, David Nail, The SteelDrivers, Gretchen Wilson, Jamey Johnson, Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson, and Keith Urban are all up for Grammys this year.

Martina also recently took to her twitter recently to dismiss criticism of this year's Superbowl halftime performance by The Black Eyed Peas.   "I've decided there is no win 2 doing the half-time show.  Every1 just seems 2 want 2 criticize.  Every year.  I'm sure it's a nervewracking gig."  She also shared her own personal opinion.  "This is awesome.  fergie looks fantastic."
