Rodney Atkins To Honor Military Hero

These are the kinds of stories that we are proud to be able to share with you.  Rodney Atkins will be honoring a decorated military hero, United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Matthew Hansen, on April 30th.   Rodney will perform an hour-long set prior to the Crown Royal Presents the Matthew and Daniel Hansen 400 at the Richmond International Raceway. 

Rodney had this to say.  "I look forward to kicking off the race weekend in Richmond with a live performance to honor Matthew and Daniel Hansen and all military members who put their lives on the line every day so that we may enjoy freedom.  It's an honor to have the opportunity to entertain race fans and have them join me in thanking our country's heroes for their efforts here and overseas." 

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will recognize Matthew and pay respects to his twin brother, Daniel, a fellow marine who gave his life for his country in February of 2009.

Thank you, Rodney!  And there's just not enough thanks to give to each man and woman who bravely and courageously put themselves in harm's way for the sake of us and our country.  Salute!
