The reconstruction of Salt Creek Highway will move north beginning Friday, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Crews will move the paving operations from Revenue Boulevard to Skyview Drive, which is north of the Port of Entry, according to the news release from Jeff Goetz at WYDOT.

Motorists will need to access Revenue Boulevard from the south near the Shoshoni Bypass.

Likewise, motorists should access Skyview Drive from the north by way of Coleman Circle.

The Salt Creek on/off ramps at the Shoshoni Bypass are open.

The bridge is open, too. However, there is a restriction for loads wider than 11 feet.

To access the Port of Entry, use the Shoshoni Bypass.

While sometimes aggravating, the project will expand Salt Creek Highway to five lanes through the area to enable traffic to move more efficiently.

Continue to pay attention in all construction zones and follow posted speed limits.

The entire project is scheduled for completion by Oct. 3.
