Shania Twain Wedding Photos

We're finally getting a first look at the photos from Shania Twain‘s romantic, sunset wedding on New Year's Day, as she's just posted them on her official site. Twain, 45, married Swiss businessman Frederic Thiebaud (pronounced "tee-bow"), 40, on Saturday in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Celebrity photographer Robert Evans, who also shot Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's wedding and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding, shot the photos. Evans has also done work for Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and Christina Aguilera.

Twain wore Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Calvin Klein shoes, and she bought her dress from a small boutique in Lausanne, Switzerland not too far from where she lives. One of the more touching moments of the wedding ceremony came when Twain was escorted down the aisle by her 9-year-old son, Eja.

“Love, peace and happiness is taking me in to 2011, and I’m feeling refreshed and optimistic about the future. I’m looking forward to what the new year has in store," Twain wrote last month, after announcing her engagement to her fans.

My only question is this. Do they even know what country music is in Switzerland?
