Sled Dog Races Come To Casper Mountain
On February 11th and 12th, Casper Mountain is going to the dogs! Why? Well, once again, it's time for the annual Canines For Charity Sled Dog Races.
Mushers will compete for a $1000 purse and other great prizes. It's all for a great cause, too! As in the past, the races will benefit the ARC of Natrona County.
The weekend kicks off in fine fashion with an ice cream social on Friday, February 10th, 7 pm, at the Parkway Plaza Hotel. Racers can register, get their informational packets, numbers, and starting orders. There will also be a race meeting and a cash bar provided. The Parkway will also be offering discounted room rates for participants.
And of course, spectators are always welcomed and encouraged. The more the app"paws"se, the better! So, join Canines For Charity on Casper Mountain for a fun and rare event, February 11th and 12th.
