Teen Driver Texts "I Need To Stop Texting" Just Before Driving Off Cliff!

Call it prophetic or just plain stupid – a college student in Texas had just finished texting, "I need to stop texting because I could die in a car accident" when he drove off a cliff. 21-year-old Chance Bothe tapped out those fateful words six months ago, and has just left rehab for his injuries.

Bothe was on his way home near Houston when the accident occurred. Seconds after his text, he drove off a bridge, then a cliff, and landed in a ravine. He suffered a broken neck, a crushed face, a fractured skull and traumatic brain injuries.

Now 80 percent recovered, Bothe has a message for anyone who texts while driving: "They just need to understand, don’t do it. It’s not worth losing your life." (WTVR.com)

Small But Mighty

A little Chihuahua is being called a big hero after finding two girls lost in a Georgia forest.

The girls, ages 5 and 8, disappeared for a few hours while walking on trails near their home south of Atlanta. Police and firefighters began a search for the girls, and their neighbor, Carvin Young, grabbed his Chihuahua and joined in.

The dog, named Bell, picked up the girls' scent and began running until she reached them. The girls were scared when they were found but were not hurt.

The girls' mother, Rebecca Parga, says Carlie and Lacey play with Bell almost every day. (WBRZ.com)
