Those smoky conditions caused by Western wildfires continue across areas of Wyoming, but there may be at least a little relief in sight. The National Weather Service in Riverton says cool, Canadian high pressure building into the northern High Plains on Tuesday will help clear out smoke east of the Continental Divide through the evening hours.

Smoky conditions will remain along and west of the Divide and across most of southern Wyoming Tuesday, but the forecast says concentrations will be decreasing overall, and visibility will improve.

Meantime, the EPA and National Weather Service are warning residents of Wyoming to be cautious of unhealthy air quality because of the amount of smoke in the air.
