Snow clearance operations are continuing throughout the city, but extra emphasis today will be placed on the neighborhoods at the extreme southern end of the community. Plows, graders, and snow blowers have been dispatched to the residential streets south of Wyoming Boulevard.

The area that will be most impacted is roughly bounded by Casper Mountain Road, Poplar Street, 47th Street, and 60th Street. Snow depths and wind speeds have been higher here than in most of the rest of the community.

If at all possible, homeowners in this area are being asked to remove their vehicles from the street so that plow operations can proceed more efficiently and with lower risk of accidents.

Similar focused attention will be paid to other residential areas in the coming days.
