Support Ducks Unlimited At Thankful Thursday
How would you like to win a gun at Thankful Thursday? It could happen this afternoon!
Thankful Thursdays continue to grow support for local charities. This week we are raising money for the Natrona County chapter of Duck Unlimited.
Thankful Thursdays is a great chance for you to gather with friends and co-workers and enjoy an afternoon of fun, while helping raise money and awareness each week for a different charity. Last week, thanks to the generosity of those in attendance, we were able to raise $2875.00 for the Natrona Country School District's Totes of Hope campaign.
Since starting Thankful Thursdays, our total is now up to just shy of $48,000 raised for local charities, and we couldn't do it without you!!

Ducks Unlimited is the world's leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation.
DU got its start in 1937 during the Dust Bowl when North America’s drought-plagued waterfowl populations had plunged to unprecedented lows. Determined not to sit idly by as the continent’s waterfowl dwindled beyond recovery, a small group of sportsmen joined together to form an organization that became known as Ducks Unlimited. Its mission: habitat conservation.
Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
We want to invite you to be a part of Thankful Thursdays each week! Come join us each Thursday afternoon, as My Country 95.5 will be throwing a party at the Beacon Club to support charities near and dear to the hearts of our community. We’ll also be raising money for our local charity in several ways. We’ll raise money with a 50/50 raffle, there will be a live auction and raffle items, donations and best of all - we’ll have a lot of fun doing it each week.
Did I mention that we are going to try and giveaway $500 Cash every week?
Indeed we will, in fact over the course of the next several months we hope to giveaway the $500 prize several times. How will we do this? It’s as simple as the song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”, except instead of bottles of beer – we’ll have bottles of prizes and one lucky bottle will contain a $500 Cash prize. We’ll start with 95 bottles of prizes (numbered for My Country 95.5) and each week we’ll give nine lucky contestants a chance to draw out one bottle each and whatever prize they find inside the bottle they choose – that prize is theirs to keep! As bottles are removed, they don't go back into play until we giveaway the Grand Prize of $500 dollars.
Once the Grand Prize bottle is found, we will reload all 95 bottles with prizes the following week and start over again. There is one small catch. You Can’t Win, If You’re Not There!!
Come join Rodeo Rick and My Country 95.5 for a live broadcast this Thursday from 5-7 PM from the Beacon Club. We’ll have tons of drink specials, including 50 cent Coors and Coors light drafts and $1 Blue moon drafts, Two for One happy hour, a 50/50 raffle as well as some awesome auction items from Western Distributing, Coors Brewing Company and more!
Grab your friends and co-workers and make plans now to join us each and every Thursday at the Beacon Club for Thankful Thursdays!!
(You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Western Distributing, Coors Brew Company, The Beacon Club, Ducks Unlimited and My Country 95.5 encourage everyone to drink responsibly!
