Officials with Natrona County District Schools and the Casper Police Department are alerting students and parents of a suspicious man. Wednesday morning, elementary school students reported a stranger was offering unsolicited rides to students near the former Westwood Elementary School. That facility is currently housing Southridge Elementary students.

The suspect is described as an 20-to-40 year old adult white male with brown hair, driving a four-door black car with white stripes over the hood and top.

Witnesses say he told students “it’s cold this morning, why don’t I give you a ride to school.” The students refused the offer and the man drove away.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Casper Police Department at 307-235-8278.
