Will Shortz, puzzle master for NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday and crossword editor of The New York Times, will be making a stop at the Casper Recreation Center this Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00 pm to continue his quest to be the first recorded person to have played table tennis in all 50 states. Wyoming will be Will's 48th state - Mississippi and Hawaii are the only ones left after Wyoming. Spectators are welcome at no charge.

In addition to being an expert puzzler, Will is part owner of the Westchester Table Tennis Center in Pleasantville, NY - a suburb of New York City. The center is one of the premier table tennis venues in the country and has been host to many major tournaments.

Will is also on a streak of playing table tennis every day since October 3, 2013. As of January 12, 2015, Will has played for 831 days in a row which may be the longest streak of consecutive days playing table tennis. If he keeps the streak going he will hit 1,000 days on June 30, 2015.

The Casper Recreation Center offers drop in Table Tennis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-11:00 am and the group also gets together on Sunday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 pm. Admission is a Recreation Center pass or $3.50 daily use fee.

For more information, please call the Casper Recreation Center at 235-8383.
