Is there anything better than watching some of the toughest guys and gals from all around rope, steer, ride, and wrestle some of the toughest animals from all around? No, there isn't. Which is why every year the College National Finals Rodeo is always such a hit. This year was no different. Check out some of these pics from the CNFR Championship.

The Casper Events Center was packed to the roof on Saturday, as fans of the College National Finals Rodeo gathered for the championship. Dreams were achieved, hearts were broken, but we all came together to witness a night that was truly memorable. Here are some pics of those that were in attendance.

Of course, when the rodeo comes to town, you're almost guaranteed to see a plethora of the biggest, baddest, gaudiest belt buckles ever. Some depict a certain victory, others are just for show, but they all catch the eye of everyone around them. Here are a few of our favorites from the 2012 College National Finals Rodeo.

I don't know about you, but being a Wyoming boy, I like seein' my girls in Wranglers. I'm sure the same can be said about Wyoming girls and seeing their boys in Wranglers. Thus, the 2012 CNFR Fashion show was a huge hit, because competitors from the College National Finals Rodeo let it all hang out at the CNFR Fashion Show on Saturday.

One of the best parts about the College National Finals Rodeo is all of the stuff you can buy there! Vendors from all over gather, with the sole intent of selling you hats, belts, belt buckles, pants, shirts, ropes, saddles and more! What do Wyomingites like more- Baseball or Rodeo? It's an age-old adage, but if you ask anyone who was at the Casper Events Center this week, Rodeo will be the overwhelming answer. It has everything- horses, bulls, bull riding, bull roping, wrestling, and more! Rodeo fans gathered at the Casper Events Center all week to witness the College National Finals Rodeo. It's been a week full of roping,  riding, and...um...another "R" word that I don't even know! Bottom line, it was awesome. as you can tell by the fans in these CNFR pics from Friday!

Things are really starting to heat up in Casper. Not only is the weather great at the moment, but rodeo season has hit as we welcome back the College National Finals Rodeo. It's the 14th year that these wild and woolly young cowboys and cowgirls have descended on our city, and to make them feel even more welcome, we have a little present.

The College National Finals Rodeo is just beginning its winning ride this week at the Casper Events Center. The action is sure to be fierce, the scores high, the stock ornery, and there's been a lot of talk behind the scenes that us spectators never get a chance to hear...until now.

America's beloved Rodeo Clown, Luke 'Leon' Coffee, remains in a San Antonio, Texas hospital being treated by doctors who say the 57-year-old cowboy protector appears to be improving as he battles a serious bout with bacterial spinal meningitis.

Casper is all set to welcome the College National Finals Rodeo back to the Casper Events Center, June 10th through the 16th.  Tickets for the "Rose Bowl" of college rodeo are on sale now.
