Things are really starting to heat up in Casper. Not only is the weather great at the moment, but rodeo season has hit as we welcome back the College National Finals Rodeo.

It's the 14th year that these wild and woolly young cowboys and cowgirls have descended on our city, and to make them feel even more welcome, we have a little present.

The College National Finals Rodeo is just beginning its winning ride this week at the Casper Events Center. The action is sure to be fierce, the scores high, the stock ornery, and there's been a lot of talk behind the scenes that us spectators never get a chance to hear...until now.

At last, I am a married Cowboy Troy! It feels like it's taken years...several long, exhausting and burdensome years, to get us to this point. I know I mean to exaggerate about our engagement when I put it that way, but it really is true to a certain extent and in a different context. However you choose to take it, I'm just glad it's over!
