September 8, 2012 It seems that as summer turns into autumn, marriage fever hit’s a fever pitch, no pun intended. Brides seem to get an itch that can only be scratched by doing lots and lots of wedding shopping. Luckily for brides in Casper, they are covered. This is because for the past three years, the Wolcott Galleria has sponsored a Bridal Walk in downtown Casper.
July 11, 2012 It's easy for us to wax poetic about how great the Parade is. We realize this, so we took to the streets, so to speak, to find out what YOU like about the parade. We interviewed kids, adults, businesses, etc. to find out what Casper actually thinks. And other than wanting to punch clowns in the face, these opinions are strictly yours and have no reflection on the thoughts of us. Except for the clowns. Clowns suck.
July 11, 2012 While the parade itself may be for kids and families, Parade Day is designated for all ages, as evidenced by the after parties that take place long after the parade has concluded. This year, many bars played host to the after parties that took place.
July 10, 2012 One of the biggest things to look forward to in Casper each summer is Parade Day! All different kinds of people and businesses put together the most eye-catching floats they can and they arm themselves with candy, prizes, and lots of water for the townsfolk. June 23, 2012 Is there anything better than spending a warm summer day with your neighbors, listening to music, eating great food, shopping, and seeing beautiful works of art and photos? We don't think so. Which is why we look forward to NicFest every year. The number of people, vendors, and wonderful kinds of food and drink that we get to experience makes us look forward to every Casper summer. This year was no different, as Day 2 of NicFest proved. June 22, 2012 Casper is a lot of things, but a "big city" is not one of them. Because of this, we miss out on a lot of 'festivals' and what-not that most big cities have. We've got Beartrap Summer Festival, and NicFest. The good news is, both of these events rock and remind me exactly how much I love living in our humble city.
