With the conclusion of Labor Day weekend comes the end of the summer driving season in the world's largest gasoline consuming country, setting the stage for gasoline demand and prices to fall.
As oil prices have continued to lift, gasoline prices may see additional slight increases in some parts of the country again this week, but overall, gasoline and diesel prices remain very low.
Including the change in gas prices in Wyoming during the past week, prices yesterday were 39.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 17.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
