On May 17 in Casper hundreds of families and business leaders will join together in the March of Dimes annual March for Babies—the nation’s oldest walk fundraiser honoring babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive.
After weeks of gathering pledges, supporters from all over Casper gathered at City Park to participate in the 2011 March for Babies.
Following either a one or four mile walk through downtown Casper, participants returned to City Park to enjoy a breakfast of hamburgers and hot dogs.
Kellan Grogan, the son of Tom and Sommer Grogan of Casper, was born on Christmas Eve 2010, and due to his health complications, had to be sent to Denver, CO via Air Life. Kellan, Tom and Sommer spent 3 months in Denver while Kellan healed from his numerous surgeries.
