Kip Moore is on one heck of a ride to country superstar status. Not only does he have a critically-acclaimed debut album on the shelves, as well as a new music video and a No. 1 hit song for his latest single, ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,’ but he also recently just found out that the song has been certified gold for sales exceeding 500,000 digital downloads.

Kip Moore‘s first gold single almost never happened. Singer-songwriter Kip Moore and CMT have just unveiled the second episode of a new web series about his journey to the spotlight. In the webisode, Kip discusses what he feels are the most crucial components of songwriting. "To write songs, you have to have inspiration," says Kip. "And the only way you can get inspiration is by going out and experiencing life."
