The Band Perry will make yet another high-profile appearance, this time at Dick Clark’s ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ with Ryan Seacrest on Saturday, Dec. 31 on ABC. The event marks the 40th anniversary of Dick Clark’s New Year’s special and will feature actress Jenny McCarthy broadcasting from Times Square and Fergie reporting from the parties in Los Angeles.
For the Band Perry, the first, second and third time is a charm. The sibling trio picked up the award for New Artist of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards, following wins for both Song of the Year and Single of the Year.

The Band Perry is a big fan of the rock band Queen. So, in there live shows they pay tribute by doing a cover of Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls”, but since they are mandolin, guitar, bass, 3 part harmony, and they live in Eastern Tennessee they sort of “Bluegrass” it up… and I think it is AWESOME...
