‘Twilight’ May Spawn a TV Series, The End Is Nigh

The moment it became apparent that the ‘Twilight‘ series was to adapt its entire four-book saga for the movies, and perhaps even before, the ‘Harry Potter‘ franchise comparisons flew. And like the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, studios figured that by splitting the final installment of a franchise into two films, the hype and box-office gross could grow to enormous proportions. Still, by their repsective ends ‘Harry Potter’ will have a full three movies on ‘Twilight,’ so how could bigwigs possibly bridge that gulf? Did somebody say ‘Twilight,’ the TV series?

Tragically, yes. Someone did.
