Taylor Swift Now Single

According to PEOPLE, Taylor Swift and recent love interest Jake Gyllenhaal are on the outs.

“They’re over,” says PEOPLE . “It ended last month.”

The couple were last seen together publicly in early December in Los Angeles, after spending Thanksgiving weekend together in Nashville and sipping coffee side by side in Brooklyn before that. Their reps haven’t confirmed or denied whether they’re dating or single, but Swift and Gyllenhaal supposedly spent the holidays apart.

Swift is likely still high on the success of her most recent album,’Speak Now,’ as well as the announcement of her upcoming tour, while Gyllenhaal’s most recent work includes the film ‘Love and Other Drugs’ with co-star Anne Hathaway.

Of course, what really matters is their happiness, so if being together wasn't doing it for them, maybe being apart will.
