Thankful Thursday Will Be Cooking Tonight To Raise Money For Glenrock Students

Tonight Thankful Thursdays will be breaking new ground as we'll have a cooking demonstration presented by the Wyoming State Champion Culinary students from Glenrock High School.

The Beacon Club will be filled with the aroma's of their 4 course championship meal, which will be prepared before your eyes.  Plus you'll have the opportunity to win a taste of their offerings.  All the proceeds this evening will support these students in their hopes of winning the  National Competition in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Wyoming State Champion Culinary and Restaurant Management teams from Glenrock High School held a fundraiser on Tuesday evening and were able to earn $8,000 of the $12k needed to get to the National Competition.

Tonight the culinary team will not only prepare their award winning meal, for you to see and taste.  We will also be auctioning off a dinner for up to ten people, catered by the team at your venue.

They have just a few weeks to raise the approximately $4,000 still needed for the trip to the National Competition in Baltimore Maryland on April 28-29, 2012.

We are graciously accepting items to be donated for the auction or any type of monetary donation this evening.

Or better yet, come out and watch these students perform their magic tonight at the Beacon Club.  Thankful Thursday will get under way at 5pm, with the cooking demonstration starting at 7pm.
