Thankful Thursdays Celebrates All Veterans, USMC Birthday and Toys 4 Tots

This week we are raising money for U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program - helping bring hope to less fortunate children in our community.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Toys for Tots was created to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. As well as play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children!

Thankful Thursdays just celebrated our 2 month anniversary and we've been having a blast with friends and co-workers. While having all this fun, we've also managed to help raise thousands dollars, plus generate awareness for great charities in our community.

Our 9 week Thankful Thursdays total is now just shy of $24,000 raised, and we couldn't do it without you!!

We hope that you’ll make plans to join us this week for Thankful Thursdays!! Gather up your family, friends and co-workers and join us after work at the Beacon Club, this Thursday from 5 to 7 pm!

Thankful Thursday’s

This is the biggest happy hour party in the state, each Thursday!!

Join us each week, as My Country 95.5 will be throwing a party at the Beacon Club to support charities near and dear to the hearts of our community. We’ll also be raising money for our charity in several ways each week.

We’ll raise money with a 50/50 raffle, there will be a live auction and raffle items, direct donations and best of all – we’ll have a lot of fun doing it each week.

Did I mention that we are going to try and giveaway $500 Cash every week?

In fact, over the course of the next several months we hope to giveaway the $500 prize several times. How will we do this? It’s as simple as the song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”, except instead of bottles of beer – we’ll have bottles of prizes and one lucky bottle will contain a $500 Cash prize each week! We start with 95 bottles of prizes (numbered for My Country 95.5) and each week we give nine lucky contestants a chance to draw out one bottle each and whatever prize they find inside that bottle – that prize is theirs to keep! Each week, we’ll remove more bottles as we give them away, (65, 64, 63, 62, etc…) until we giveaway the Grand Prize of $500 dollars.

Once the Grand Prize bottle has been given away, we'll reload all 95 bottles with prizes the following week and start over again. You Can’t Win, If You’re Not There!!

Come join Rodeo Rick and My Country 95.5 for a live broadcast each Thursday from 5-7 PM from the famous Beacon Club. We’ll have tons of drink specials, including 50 cent drafts in addition to 2 for 1 drinks, free samples from liqueur distributors and some awesome auction items from Western Distributing, Coors Brewing Company and more! Plus you’ll never know what other surprises might be in store each week!!
