Thankful Thursdays Helps the Wyo Junior Rodeo Assn

Casper's favorite party with a purpose is preparing for another Great Gun Giveaway this week at Thankful Thursday as we support the Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association.

Come join all your friends at the Beacon Club, Thursday starting at 5:00 PM.

What is the Great Gun Giveaway! What is it? It's your chance to win one of several raffles for a choice of guns from the wall of 30 guns.

If you were at our first Gun Giveaway with DU, then you know we gave away almost 2 dozen guns last time we did something like this. It was so popular, we're doing it again!!

This week's Thankful Thursday will be helping raise money and awareness for the local future cowboys and cowgirls that participate in rodeo sports.

We'll have 50 cent Coors Light drafts, $1 dollar Blue Moon drafts, a 50/50 raffle and a ton of live auction items (see a sample list below) and our first ever

Plus we've got your chance to win $500!

Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association is a non-profit organization that has been active for more than 20 years with rodeos all over the state of Wyoming. One of their main goals is to prepare our members for high school and collegiate levels of rodeo competition.

Youth compete in the one of the following age divisions for which they qualify.

PEE WEE -- 6 & UNDER
BARREL RACING, POLE BENDING, GOAT TAIL TYING
JUNIOR GIRL -- 7 - 10 YEARS
SENIOR GIRL -- 11 - 15 YEARS
BARREL RACING, POLE BENDING, GOAT TYING, BREAKAWAY ROPING, TEAM ROPING
JUNIOR BOY -- 7 - 10 YEARS
SENIOR BOY -- 11 - 15 YEARS
GOAT TYING OR CALF TYING (depending on which one the host rodeo offers), BREAKAWAY ROPING, TEAM ROPING, STEER/BULL RIDING

Raffles:

Great Gun Giveaway! This raffle will sell a limited number of tickets and once sold out, a winner will be drawn and get their choice of gun from the 30 gun poster or a $500 CASH prize - This raffle will turn as many times as possible.

Crown Royal raffle- $10 each for a bottle of Crown and a 1 in 12 chance to win a Ruger Rancher pistol.
