Thankful Thursdays Raised $7872 To Help Glenrock Get To Nationals [PHOTOS]

Thankful Thursday was another huge success with a couple of first last week as we helped raise money for Glenrock High School's Culinary and Restaurant Management teams.

The two teams now have enough money to make their dream trip of going to and competing in the national competition at the end of April. The students held a fundraiser on Tuesday of last week raising over $8k and needed $4k to reach their goal of $12k, with an additional $1,000 needed to ship all of their wares and displays.

The great folks at Thankful Thursday came together and we were able to raise $7872 for the students, thanks in large part to Uranium One. The mineral company donated a $3k check to ensure that the students would get their shot at the national title!

The restaurant management team gave a short overview of their state winning presentation, which was well thought out and informative. That was followed by a great cooking demonstration by the culinary team.
