The latest celebrity weight loss trend, rumored to be linked to Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Lady Gaga, is something called the Baby Food Diet.  Before you knock it, you might want to consider this.Doctors recommend that you eat a healthy diet, regardless of what that diet may be or consist of. Ah, I remember being an infant like it was yesterday, wait a second, no I don't. But, I do remember feeding my daughter as an infant and watching her make faces after we introduced her to new foods and flavors. I will also admit to having tasted a few and caring for the consistency or flavors myself. But, if a bland healthy diet is what you're looking for. Baby food is sure to be the diet for you.

This new diet reportedly involves replacing breakfast and lunch with about 14 jars of baby food (about 25 to 75 calories each), and then eating a sensible dinner.

Is this new trend likely to catch on? Shape Magazine has done a Pro's and Con's article on the new baby food craze and it brings up a few good points for both sides of the argument.
