Every state has one great best place to camp (yes, even New Jersey). We like the state where we live as the best for the outdoors, but does any other state top Wyoming?

And where is the best spot in Wyoming? You might have taken a wild guess that it's in our northern parts. Yes, that would be in the Grand Teton National Park. And it's hard to argue with Jenny Lake Campground.

“… dramatic backdrop to a lake-dotted valley where bison, elk and moose meander.”

It is true that once you’ve made camp, you can take the hike of a lifetime, raft down Snake River, or try the lodge’s five-course dinner that Travel and Leisure says is not to be missed. (Okay, that’s not roughing it, but as long as the restaurant is there, I won’t tell anyone.)

The reviews at tripadvisor also raved about Jenny Lake and surroundings. One who arrived at 10 a.m. to find only three spaces left said, “Get there early.”

Looking for a video of Jenny Lake, I didn't find one. I found like eight of them. This one is the coolest.
