A very large, strong ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate the weather across the state through the weekend.  The fire danger will stay very high.  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for much of central, western and southern Wyoming through tonight.  Please use caution.

Precipitation is going to be hard to come by in western and central portions of the state.  A few isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will develop in the east this weekend.  On Saturday thunderstorms along the state’s eastern border could turn strong to severe and contain hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning.

Temperatures will continue to heat to above average levels.  Highs will range from the upper 70s to the lower 80s in the northwest to the 90s to near 100 in central and eastern locations.
