The Third Annual Ghost Town Gumbo Cook Off is June 4th
The Third Annual Ghost Town Gumbo Cook Off will be yummy good family fun.
The Casper Events Center parking lot will host gumbo lovers and those with a curiosity about this Cajun recipe. You can sign your team up, volunteer, or become a sponsor or vendor.
Gates will open at 11 am on Saturday, June 4th and tasting begins at noon. Awards will be presented at 3pm. Enjoy live music throughout the event, plus a car show for of the car enthusiast in attendance.
Your Gumbo recipe should be either seafood or meat. Perhaps, even a combination of the two, whatever ingredients you decide is right for your mouthwatering gumbo. Good luck and don't forget to throw in a pinch of love.
Admission is $10, children under 6 are free and $5 for Veterans with military ID. The Ghost Town Gumbo Cook Off will benefit the National Historic Trails Center Foundation.
