You'll hear many folks say, "We don't deserve dogs," but could you imagine a world without them?

Dogs are great pets and a significant part of the workforce worldwide—therapy dogs, bomb-sniffing dogs, drug-sniffing dogs, seeing-eye dogs, emotional-support dogs, hunting dogs, ranch dogs, shotgun-riding dogs, and comedy-relief dogs.

Dogs are a big part of our society, and if you have a dog, it's probably with you most of the time. If you're heading to town, on vacation, or on your way to work, there's a good chance your trusty sidekick is with you.

If you have ever watched the T.V. show or read the C.J. Box books based on Wyoming Game Warden Joe Pickett, you'll remember that his dog, Daisy, was with him most of the time. Constantly riding shotgun and on the road with him, even when Joe was showing a young warden the ropes, Daisy was in the front seat. A few times in the series, Daisy can't get out of the truck to help when Joe gets into a sticky situation.

This dog crosses off several 'dog roles' from the list, like shotgun-riding, working, therapy, and comic relief.

The part that tickles me is this pup is ready to go, letting EVERYONE know it and doing it all with a straight face.
