We salute 10 great Wyoming writers on National Author’s Day. All of these different writers make up one great list of serious talent, in no particular order of talent. Ranking them would be well above my pay grade, but November 1 is the day to thank them for countless hours of great reading.

Owen Wister – ("The Virginian" & "American Civil War")  Wister lived in and out of Wyo his whole adult life 1860 - 1938

Reid Rosenthal  (Douglas rancher & romance novelist.)
