Wyoming Corner Antonio Hull Is Happy To Be Back [VIDEO]

Two weeks of spring practice is in the books for the Wyoming Cowboy football team. They went through practices No. 5 and 6 last Thursday and Saturday.

One player that is particularly excited to be back at practice is redshirt junior Antonio Hull. He provides a veteran presence in an otherwise young group or corners.

At cornerback the Pokes have lost three players that were in the rotation last season. Two graduated (Rico Gafford and Robert Priester), while junior Tyler Hall has moved to the nickel/linebacker spot full-time. That leaves both corner spots open during spring drills.

One of those positions will likely be filled by Hull. He missed all but one game last year due to an injury. Hull played in the 2017 season opener at Iowa, but didn’t register any stats and never played again.

KOWB’s David Settle recently caught up with the junior cornerback and visited about returning to the playing field; being the veteran leader; the young group of corners and more.

Hull had an interception in last Thursday’s fifth practice of the spring. Even Coach Bohl discussed having his veteran presence back out there.

Wyoming will continue with week three of spring practice Tuesday afternoon with their seventh session.
