Over 10,000 educators will gather in Orlando, Florida, June 26 through July 6, for the National Education Association's Annual Meeting.

Wyoming Education Association President Kathy Vetter says the meeting, which is the largest gathering of educational leaders in the U.S., gives attendees a chance to share their ideas and discuss issues such as Common Core and college affordability.

"We have about 35 education employees that will be attending this year's national meeting," said Vetter. "They'll be talking about education issues that are effecting our nation."

Vetter says it's ultimately up to each state to set their own standards, but she believes Wyoming has a good system in place.
