Wyoming motorists know how difficult winter travel can, be now the rest of the world does too.

The Cowboy State was just ranked as the WORST state for winter driving.

SafeWise just released a report of the best and worst winter driving states. They analyzed fatal car crashes due to snow thanks to 2016 National Highway Traffic Safety data.

The chances of being in a snow related accident per 100,000 motorists were more than double the second place state, Vermont.

The other bad winter states included Montana, Idaho, and Maine. Best winter driving states included Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and surprisingly North Dakota.
