CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Health Department is reporting the state's second case of West Nile virus in a human this year.

Last week, the agency announced that the state's first case involved an adult female from Platte County.
On Monday, the department said a second case was reported from Fremont County.

Last year, Wyoming had seven human West Nile cases reported.

Since West Nile first appeared in Wyoming in 2002, the annual numbers of reported human cases have ranged from two with no deaths to 393 and nine deaths.
