Move over Colorado, the best ski resort in North America is right here in Wyoming. The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort recently topped a new Forbes list ranking the Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America for 2016.

Jackson Hole has been a popular year-round tourist destination for decades. 2016 marks the fourth consecutive season that Jackson Hole has finished on top of the annual Forbes rankings.

Another Wyoming resort, Grand Targhee in Alta, also cracked the top ten. Boasting some of the best terrain and snow conditions in the world, the resort was ranked as the ninth best in North America.

Utah's Snowbird resort finished just behind Jackson Hole in second place. The Whistler - Blackcomb resort in British Columbia, Canada, ranked third. Resorts in Alta, Utah, and Vail, Colorado, rounded out the top five. Click here for the complete rankings.
