Wyoming State Pool Tourney In Casper [GALLERY]

This week pool players from across Wyoming are competing for top honors at the State Pool Championships happening now thru Sunday at the Parkway Plaza Hotel and Convention Center. Over 550 players will be competing in the singles division.In addition to the singles competitors, almost 800 players are here for the team competition as well. Singles matches start at 8 AM and go all day Wednesday March 14th and Thursday the 15th. Team matches will go all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 16th the 18th. Qualifying has already taken place but there is still ample room for spectators. Tom Tysver with Wyoming Amusements joined us to talk about the competition.

When asked what the players are playing for Tom says:

There is $12,000.00 added money to the tournament. And then there are plaques for the top 4 in each level.

Over 80 regulation tables have been set up at the Parkway for the competition and with a number of vendors on hand selling pool cues and accessories the place is crowded and busy. Good luck to all the competitors and for results. CLICK HERE.
