With love in the air (you remember Valentine's Day, right?) and wedding season on the way, ladies in Wyoming are sporting more expensive engagement rings than a lot of our neighboring states.

Businessinsider.com just put out a list detailing 'What Americans Spend on Engagement Rings in Each State'.  Of course the four 'C's" are used to help decide the pricing on any diamond ring - cut, carat, color and clarity.

When it comes to popping the question in Wyoming, guys spend more on average than their counter parts in Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, Idaho and Nebraska.

On average Wyomingites spent $7,154 to purchase a diamond engagement ring.  Which ranked Wyoming 21st among US states when it comes to purchasing rings.

Utah spends the least on average with $3,518, while California spends the most on average at $10,241.
