University of Wyoming running back Brian Hill made it official yesterday, announcing he will skip his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Pokes career rushing leader thanked his coaches and teammates in a statement.

"I would like to thank my mom for being here for me through whatever: [Wyoming head coach Craig] Bohl, [running backs coach Mike] Bath and the rest of the coaching staff for believing in me; and my teammates who are all my brothers for life -- I couldn't have chosen a better family."

Hill finished his junior season ranked third in the FBS with 1,860 yards rushing.

Hill holds every significant rushing record at Wyoming, including career rushing yards (4,287), single season rushing yards (1,860), career rushing touchdowns (35), single season rushing touchdowns (22), career average yards rushing per game (112.82) and single season rushing yards per game (135.92).

Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl told GoWyo.com, "We appreciate Brian’s efforts and his many contributions to our football program these past three seasons. He helped us move Wyoming Football in a positive direction over his three-year career.”

CBS Sports currently ranks Hill as the #10 running back and the 114th best overall NFL prospect, projecting him to be drafted in the third or fourth round.
