Every band dreams of playing in front of 20,000 screaming fans. For Wyoming's Patti Fiasco, that dream was supposed to come true this week.

Unfortunately, after winning a contest to open for Bon Jovi at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Friday night, the show was abruptly cancelled due to illness.

The called-off concert has left the band scrambling to accomodate friends and fans from across the country who made travel plans to see them perform.

Singer Alysia Kraft says the band is trying to organize another concert in the area.

"I’m in the midst of a million calls to make something happen in Denver on April 14. Something big, and hilarious, and celebratory, and rock and roll. Never underestimate the tenacity of an underdog band with friends in all the right low places," Kraft told the Denver Post.

The band also posted a message on their Facebook page.

"It might not be the Pepsi Center, but ain’t nobody gonna stop this Patti Parti. Don’t cancel your flights, don’t change your plans. We’re working on a backup plan and an ultra fun night to celebrate all the love we’ve felt from you all from the beginning of this crazy roller coaster ride to the moment that the cart got a little jolt," the band said.
