One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries while another was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene following a two-vehicle crash at Wyoming Boulevard and Poplar on Monday.

Reported at roughly 2 p.m., the crash occurred when an eastbound white pickup truck collided with a westbound black Nissan pickup that was towing a portable air compressor.

Police at the scene said it was apparent that one of the vehicles had failed to yield the right-of-way, but the crash was still under investigation when the officer spoke to K2 Radio News.

Poplar street was blocked on the south side of Wyoming Boulevard while police investigated and worked to clear the scene.
