A 28-year-old New York man could face up to 15 years in prison after authorities in Wyoming found 68 pounds of marijuana in his rental pickup.
According to an affidavit, Hezekiah M. Alexander was pulled over Saturday after a Cheyenne-area trooper clocked him doing 82 mph in a 75 mph zone on Interstate 80.
The traffic stop led to a search of the pickup and 68 pounds of marijuana were found in two plastic containers in the bed of the truck and inside a punching bag that was in the back seat of the cab.
Alexander was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana and speeding.
